Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By adding the NEXA bot to your Discord server or by using our website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. Continued use after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. The service

NEXA is an automatic translation bot for Discord. It translates messages in real time across configured channels, supporting over 20 languages.

The service is offered on two plans: Free (with usage limitations) and Premium (with advanced features upon payment). The features of each plan are described on the Plans page.

NEXA is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Discord Inc. "Discord" is a registered trademark of Discord Inc., used for descriptive purposes only.

3. Acceptable use

By using NEXA, you agree to:

• Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Not use the service for illegal purposes or to distribute harmful content
• Not attempt to circumvent the limitations of the free plan
• Not intentionally overload the service's infrastructure
• Not resell or redistribute the service without written authorization

4. Service availability

We make every effort to keep NEXA available. However, we do not guarantee 100% uptime. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical failures, or factors outside our control (such as Discord API unavailability).

We continuously monitor the service and work to resolve issues promptly. The current status can be checked on our Status page.

5. Translation quality

Translations are generated automatically and may contain errors. NEXA is not responsible for inaccuracies, misunderstandings, or consequences arising from automatic translations. For critical communications, we always recommend human verification.

6. Access to message content

To provide the translation service, NEXA needs to access the content of messages sent in configured channels. This access is strictly limited to what is necessary for the real-time translation function.

• Messages are processed instantly and are not stored after translation
• Access applies only to channels explicitly configured by the administrator
• Message content is never used to train AI models or for analytical purposes
• Content is never shared with advertisers or third parties non-essential to the service

This access complies with Discord's Message Content Intent Review Policy, which requires clear justification for bots that access messages at scale.

7. Payments and refunds

• Payments are securely processed via Stripe or PayPal
• Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the agreed billing period
• You may cancel at any time — access remains active until the end of the paid period
• Refunds are accepted within the first 14 days of purchase, no questions asked
• After 14 days, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

8. Intellectual property

NEXA, including its code, design, and brand, is the exclusive property of the NEXA team. Use of the service does not grant you any ownership rights over any element of the product.

The content of translated messages always belongs to their respective authors. NEXA does not claim any rights over that content.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NEXA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the last 12 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service in the event of a breach of these terms, without prior notice. You may terminate use at any time by removing the bot from your server and deleting your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Portugal, without prejudice to the rights of European consumers.
